Bogor CFD No Longer Centralized in Cibinong, Now Expanding to Cileungsi

CILEUNGSI – Bogor Regent, Rudy Susmanto, emphasized that Car Free Day (CFD) in Bogor Regency is no longer exclusively held in the Cibinong or Tegar Beriman areas. This was stated during his attendance at the Cileungsi CFD, which featured the Cileungsi Bubble Run at Metland Cileungsi on Sunday (Feb 1).

Accompanied by the Regional Secretary and local officials, the Regent encouraged residents to prioritize a healthy and joyful lifestyle. According to Rudy, holding CFD in Cileungsi proves that the government is successfully bringing healthy public spaces to various sub-districts to improve citizens’ quality of life.

“Today, we are holding CFD at Metland Cileungsi, integrated with a fun run event. This shows that CFD is now active in several sub-districts across Bogor, not just in Cibinong,” said Rudy Susmanto.

The event was initiated by the Cileungsi branch of the Indonesian Community Sports Committee (KORMI) in collaboration with KORMI Bogor Regency. Beyond sports, the program aims to foster community togetherness and positive use of public space. Rudy hopes that CFD will eventually expand to cover all 40 sub-districts in Bogor Regency.
